Victron Lynx Power In M8
A modular DC busbar used to connect batteries to the Lynx DC distribution system, available as M8 and M10 models.
The Lynx Power In is an essential component of the Lynx Distribution System, featuring both positive and negative busbars equipped with four connections. These connections are versatile, accommodating batteries, loads, or chargers, along with a ground connection. It's designed to seamlessly integrate into the Lynx Distribution system, available in two variants based on busbar size: M8 or M10. It's important to note that the M10 designation pertains to the busbar connection points for module interconnectivity, whereas the fuse and cable connections standardize on M8 sizing.
The Lynx Distribution System represents a comprehensive modular busbar solution engineered for DC power management. This system facilitates the efficient distribution, connection, and management of DC power sources and loads. It incorporates advanced features such as DC connection, distribution, fusing, battery monitoring, and lithium battery management into a cohesive system. The system comprises several key components:
-
Lynx Power In: Offers both positive and negative busbar connections for up to four batteries or DC devices, with options for M8 or M10 busbars.
-
Lynx Distributor: Features positive and negative busbars with four fused connections for secure and monitored connection of batteries or DC equipment, available in M8 or M10 configurations.
-
Lynx Shunt VE.Can: Integrates a positive busbar with a designated space for the main system fuse and a negative busbar with a shunt for precise battery monitoring, leveraging VE.Can for communication.
-
Lynx Smart BMS: Designed specifically for Victron Energy Smart Lithium batteries, it includes a positive busbar driven by a BMS and a negative busbar for battery monitoring. It supports Bluetooth for easy setup and monitoring via the VictronConnect App, along with VE.Can for integration with GX devices and the VRM portal. This component is offered in 500A and 1000A models to suit various system requirements.
Together, these Lynx modules form a robust and versatile energy distribution system, suitable for a wide range of applications, from marine and RV to off-grid and backup power systems, ensuring reliable and efficient power management.
