This filter housing is primarily intended for under-counter water filters. It is a sturdy housing that can deal with the required pressure and then some. However, the inlet and outlet (1/4" BSP) fittings are plastic and have no threaded metal lining, which lets the whole thing down just a bit. If fitted once and then left alone forever it should be fine, but in my experience these plastic-only fittings will start to give you problems in time. That said, it's an inexpensive product and in terms of value for money well worth it.
